If you haven't experienced any of The Apothecary's fabulous services you are missing out. I go for regular facials and waxing
(by far the best brazilian on the island) and have just come from having my first spray tan....I look awesome!...so even and natural looking.
I would recommend this spa to anyone.
They have also just started massage which is next on my list...I hear the new massuse, Liz is the best! Can't wait.

In my opinion The Apothecary Newport is by far the best place to get waxed on Aquidneck Island. I would go no where else now!
Prices are reasonable, all the staff are professional and friendly and the service they provide is exceptional.
Book early though as they fill out quickly.

Fabulous products, including my favorite makeup in the whole wide world...BARE ESCENTUALS!!!
My girlfriend had her makeup done here for her wedding this summer which was flawless...the ONLY make up to use for your wedding
by the way! This really is a gorgeous boutique, they do a fantastic wax job and great facials and carry lots of other great lines and goodies.
The staff and owners are friendly and knowledgable and is a great place to buy a gift...even for the husband!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this store! My new favourite place in Newport. They have all the great skin care lines that Sephora have including
Bare Escentuals and Stila!! They have the most adorable treatment room where I received the best waxing I have ever had and I fell asleep
during my facial which speaks for itself. Great owners and staff. Highly recommended from me!!

This is a great little boutique, friendly relaxing atmosphere. Great makeup artists using i.d.bareMinerals and their services (waxing and facials)
are conducted in a very professional but realxing way. They have some great skincare lines that really work. I really love this place
and the people in it.....a great addition to Newport :)

This cute boutique in downtown newort is fabulous! They have great waxing and makeup services. I had my makeup done there for my
wedding and I never looked better!! Love this place!!

They have the best makeup and skincare on the island with great makeup artist and aestheticians. Finally I don't have to go to Boston
anymore!! So excited!!!

Treat yourself...
If you haven't been here yet then I would highly recommend that you do! Great place for skincare....Im allergic to sulphates and they have this wonderful organic line from England called REN, complimented by the natural look of bare minerals, their makeup line. Lots of other great stuff, go check it out for yourself.

Best Place in Newport
I received a gift certificate to this place a few months ago and can't believe I waited so long to use it. I had a facial and full wax and it was by far the best experience I have had in Newport. After my facial they gave me a complimentary Bare Minerals makeup application which was perfect because I was headed out for the night. This place has a great vibe and I highly recommend it

What a find.....
Nestled away from the tourist side of Newport on Lower Broadway I found this gem! Wow!..what a find...so cute...so friendly...so many good lines of skincare and really wonderful make up. Everyone who works here is great at what they do. I have definitely found the new secret in Newport when it comes to pampering yourself. Every woman who cares about her skin and how her make up looks should definitely visit The Apothecary! Highly recommended by me!

Best Skincare in Town
The Apothecary Newport offers a great selection of skincare and makeup. I love love love the Alpha Beta Facial on their menu. It completely changed the texture of my skin!! This place comes highly recommended!!

    Ok so I booked my makeup trial months and months ago...I was excited! I can't even tell you how fantastic it turned out! I have never had sooo many compliments on my face in all my life. I looked just like myself...only better! 

    If you are looking for a makeup artist this is it! In fact all the girls in my party that had makeup done looked FAB. My bridesmaids used some of the other artists at the Apothecary and they all looked and felt amazing and felt amazing

    By far the best place I have found in Newport to go for a facial or to be waxed. This really is a fabulous little boutique with some great skin care lines (that really work!). Cosy, friendly and definitely worth a visit if your in town.

    I have lived here for over thirty years and have been all over the Island getting waxed at many places..this is by far THEE best place I have ever been and the staff and owners are as pleasant as can be!!!!! I will not go anywhere else I have found the best!!!!

    I started going to The Apothecary last summer and now I wont go anywhere else for my waxing needs! They use a special wax so when I get my Brazilian it is as close to pain free as you can get. Have them put you on their email blasts for their Girls Night Out. They bring in the National Artisty Team from Bare Escentuals and some of the Skincare lines to do complementary facials. Their gift bags are really generous!!!

      This is a wonderful little Bare Escentuals boutique in downtown Newport on Broadway. Make-up, skin care, facials and waxing...everything a woman wants and its all good...I know because I've tried it all and keep going back for more!

      Bare Escentuals here in Newport....yeah, no more ordering the wrong thing online or tavelling to providence! The staff here are great, their products are first class and the treatments are second to none. I love this store and everything and everybody in it!!!! Everybody should make at least one visit, but believe me you wont be able to stop at one!

Excellent place to treat yourself
Great place to get facials in Npt. Also does waxes. Staff is very professional and gentle. Always a pain-free experience. Great place to get your friends/wife a gift certificate for.

Definately the only place to be waxed in Newport, I know because I've tried most places! I love this place, such great lines, its like a mini sephora. The staff are great, they really have a passion for what they do....if you get to read

I just have to say that I love this store!
If your ever in Newport and need some beauty therapy then this is your place with makeup lines like Stila and bare Minerals and the likes of Mario Baescu and MD Skincare for the skin. If you need to get waxed before heading out to the beach
this is the place to go...best brazilian I've ever had.

Best Facial
I read that The Apothecary won a "Best Of" star for best facial..so I went and checked it out, got a facial and would highly recommend this place to anyone, the facial was awesome. A great store, friendly staff and stocked full of wonderful products.

We have been blessed here in Newport to have The Apothecary open up! It sells the worlds most popular and best mineral makeup available, i.d.bareMinerals. The staff there are great and they have the cutest treatment room offering facials and waxing. The waxing I've had there has been the best I've ever had....and although I have yet to get a facial, they have just won "Best Facial" 2008 in Newport County. A great place with fantastic products and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!!?

I have just moved to the area...
and I really do like this little boutique. The staff are super friendly and knowledgable and is a great place to get waxed. They use the sugar so your hair folical doesn't get damaged. Great makeup and skincare....I have been converted to a bare minerals user!! Keep up the good work.

found a great place to get waxed and I hear their facials are to die for. I had Jenni ( I think that was her name!!) do my makeup before heading out on the town last week and I got so many compliments that night on how good I looked....I like that!
